Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to information you give us through this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived, and it describes what the site actually does today.

Who is responsible

What we collect

There are only three ways this website collects anything.

1. What you send us

If you use an enquiry form, we receive what you typed into it: your name and email address, which are required; your company and phone number, which are optional; the service you selected; and your message. We also record which page you sent it from, so the enquiry arrives with its context rather than anonymously.

You have to tick a box before the form will send. That tick is your consent, and it is the legal basis on which we hold what you sent.

2. Technical records kept by our host

Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps ordinary server records: your IP address, the address you requested, the time, and your browser's identification string. We use these only to keep the site working and to stop automated abuse of the enquiry form.

3. Anonymous visit statistics

We count which pages are visited, the website a visitor came from, their country, device and browser, and how fast pages load, using Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These tools set no cookies and do not identify you; the figures we see are totals, not individual visitors.

What we do not collect

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It runs no advertising tags, no session tracking and no social media pixels, and its visit statistics use no cookies. There is nothing to opt out of, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner. The cookie policy covers the one exception, which is the appointment page.

We do not buy, sell or enrich personal data, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We hold what you send in order to answer you, and to keep a record of advice given if you become a client. We do not use enquiry details for marketing unless you ask us to.

If an enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it after 24 months. If it does, it becomes part of the client file and is kept for as long as our professional and tax record- keeping obligations require.

Who else sees it

• Our hosting provider, Vercel, serves the website, keeps the server records described above and produces the anonymous visit statistics. Their servers are outside Indonesia.
• Resend, our email delivery provider, carries your enquiry from this website to our inbox at info@mamsolutions.net. It passes the message on; it does not use it for anything else.
• Microsoft, if — and only if — you use the appointment page and click to load the booking form. What you enter there goes to Microsoft's booking service, under Microsoft's own terms.

Nobody else. We do not share enquiries with other firms, and we do not pass them to anyone for marketing.

Information leaving Indonesia

Because our hosting and email providers operate internationally, information you send may be processed outside Indonesia. We choose providers that commit to recognised data protection standards, and we send them only what is needed to run the website and deliver your message.

Your rights

Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022) you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete what you sent us;
• stop using it, or restrict how we use it;
• withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted the form — which you can do at any time, and which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Write to info@mamsolutions.net. We will acknowledge you quickly and give you a full answer within 14 days. If a request is complicated enough to need longer, we will tell you why before that deadline rather than after it.

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you are entitled to complain to the relevant Indonesian authority as well as to us.

Children

This is a website for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too. We do not make changes quietly.
